The Indians will have 50 players participating in the organization’s 2010 fall instructional program held in Goodyear, Ariz. They will play 14 games against other nearby Arizona-based instructional programs from Sept. 22 to Oct. 14. Recent draft picks will comprise most of the players including 14 players selected by Cleveland this past June. Seven of the top eight picks this year will be there.

No. 1 draft choice Drew Pomeranz could see his first "game" action since signing on Aug. 18. He has worked out with Tribe farm teams but not pitched.

In addition, the Tribe’s first five picks of the 2009 June draft will be on the roster along with four minor-leaguers acquired in trades: left-hander Giovanni Soto (from Detroit, July 29), infielder Juan Diaz (Seattle, June 27) lefty Nick Hagadone (Boston, July 2009) and right-hander Jason Knapp (Philadelphia, July 2009).
