GCL Cardinals 2012 Player of the Year

Outfielder Jhohan Acevedo receives our selection as the Cardinals' top 2012 player at their entry US level of play.

Of the players who spent all or most of the season with the playoff-bound 2012 Gulf Coast League Cardinals, Jhohan Acevedo was the most consistent producer on offense. Even better was that he improved as the season went along. Acevedo's OPS in June was .594. In July, he picked it up to .723 and then .800 in August.
