Sizemore's Slam Helps Indians Win

Great stuff ... Grady Sizemore, grand slam.

Grady Sizemore had three hits, including his first grand slam, and drove in five runs to lead the Indians to their ninth win in 10 games, 6-1, in Kansas City. Cleveland moved into second place in the AL wild card race ahead of the New York Yankees, while the hapless Royals lost their 12th in a row.

Casey Blake had two hits and scored three runs. During an 11-game hitting streak since July 29, he has hit .462 (18-for-39) with 14 runs, three homers, six RBI and 33 total bases to lift his average from .221 to .247. C.C.
