Sizemore's Steal Sparks 9-3 Triumph

Victor Martinez had four hits, Travis Hafner hit two homers and C.C. Sabathia won his fifth straight start. They all took a back seat to Grady Sizemore's daring steal of home plate in the first inning that sparked the Indians to a 9-3 win over the scuffling Blue Jays in Toronto.

Cleveland won for the eighth time in nine games. The Indians remained in their virtual tie with Oakland and the New York Yankees, both of whom also won, atop the AL wild-card race. Even more exciting than that race was Sizemore's racing to the plate as he scored without the catcher even trying to make a tag. Toronto lost for the seventh time in eight games.
