The 'Pronk' Who Would Be 'King'

Jerry Lawler sat on the railing of the mezzanine level at Jacobs Field, pleading for Travis Hafner to hit a homerun into the right field seating area now known as "Pronkville." After sending a weak foul into the stands down the third-base line, "Pronk" nearly obliged.

He turned on a Scott Baker fastball and sent a majestic drive toward the seats in right. At first, it seemed like it might indeed reach the sacred land visited by very few players other than Hafner and Jim Thome. Alas, the towering blast landed 30 feet or so short of Pronkville.
