The Indians will begin their 107th American League season on Monday, April 2 in Chicago. Cleveland's 2007 home opener at Jacobs Field will be on Friday, April 6 at 4:05 p.m. against Seattle -- starting a 10-game homestand that includes four games with the Mariners, three with the Los Angeles Angels and three with the White Sox. The regular season will conclude on Sunday, Sept. 30 at Kansas City. | |||

The summer schedule includes a season-high 18 home games in the month of June. Here's the month-by-month breakdown of games at Jacobs Field: April: 15 May: 10 June: 18 July: 16 August: 11 September: 11 A look at the schedule shows that it favors a reasonably good start for Cleveland, which will play 15 of its 26 games in April at home. May could prove to be a grind, however, as the Indians will play 18 of their 28 games on the road, including trips to Baltimore, Los Angeles, Oakland, Kansas City, Detroit and Boston. Then comes what appears to be an extended favorable stretch as Cleveland will play 34 of 53 games at home during the months of June and July. It could be a grueling stretch drive for the Tribe, however, as 32 of its final 54 games will be on the road, including a season-ending trip of three games in Seattle and three in Kansas City.
