A year ago, the Akron Aeros were blessed with enough talent that they probably should have streaked out of the gate and never looked back en route to winning the Eastern League’s Southern Division. With a pitching staff anchored by Adam Miller and a lineup that included Kevin Kouzmanoff, the Aeros appeared poised to easily repeat as Eastern League kingpins under first-year manager Tim Bogar.
