Mike Hargrove insists there are “no dark, sinister reasons” for his shocking decision to resign as manager of the suddenly surging Seattle Mariners. He’s trying to sell the story that his “passion” for the everyday grind in his beloved game of baseball has begun to fade. That might be what he’s selling, but sorry old pal, I’m just not buying it.
