C.C. Sabathia ... trade him before he walks?

It's truly astounding what poor relief pitching can do to a baseball team. Wednesday night, the Indians' bullpen tossed away another decent pitching performance by C.C. Sabathia and two home runs by Grady Sizemore. It resulted in yet another loss in Chicago to the White Sox, the second in a row in 10 innings. This one came by the score of 6-5 on the second home run of the game by A.J. Pierzynski.

Masahide Kobayashi, signed in the off-season to give the bullpen a boost, instead may have supplied the signal for general manager Mark Shapiro to begin cleaning house. Kobayashi pitched a perfect ninth but served up Pierzynski's seventh homer of the year on the first pitch in the bottom of the 10th.
