Now, both the Akron Aeros and Kinston Indians are playing for championships. The Aeros defeated the Altoona Curve, 5-2, in Game 5 of the Southern Division Finals on Sunday and will defend its Class AA Eastern League title against Portland. Meanwhile, Kinston remained undefeated in the 2006 playoffs, defeating Frederick, 3-2, to take a 2-0 lead in the Class A Carolina League championship series.
