The Akron Aeros and Kinston Indians open post-season play tonight. The Aeros gained a wild-card berth in the Class AA Eastern League and will play the Southern Division champion Erie SeaWolves in a best-of-five series. Kinston, defending champion of the Class A Carolina League, swept both halves of the Southern Division and will host every game of a best-of-three set against the Salem Avalanche.
