Manny Acta has signed a three-year contract to manage the Cleveland Indians, the team announced late this afternoon. The 40-year-old becomes the 40th manager in team history and will succeed Eric Wedge, who was fired with six games remaining in his seventh year on the job in September. Acta will be officially presented to Cleveland fans and media at Progressive Field on Monday at 4 p.m.
