Mike Redmond has played in about half his team’s games during his career, but is not half bad. He’s not a household name, though when most fans heard the Indians had signed him to a free agent contract in December, they figured it was a waste of $850,000 for a catcher is 39 years old and has 13 homers in 12 years. Redmond’s career though, is one of the glass being half full rather than half empty.
