Drafted by Red Sox in 3rd round, 1999; traded with RHP Tomo Ohka to Expos for RHP Ugueth Urbina, 7/31/01; signed by Cardinals, 11/04/05; traded to Mets, 6/23/06; signed by Cleveland, 1/22/07.
Was 11-7 with a 2.42 ERA over 34 games and parts of three seasons in low minors when traded from Boston organization. At time of the trade, he had walked only 21 and struck out 137 in 168 innings as a professional. Has been inconsistent at higher levels since.
