Signed by Cleveland as a non-drafted free agent, 3/21/06.

Hit .253 (59-for-233) with six homers and 35 RBI in 70 games for the Indians' team in the Dominican Summer League in 2006. Went 22-for-32 in steal attempts, scored 47 runs, made 18 errors and had 43 walks and 48 strikeouts.
