Drafted by Cleveland in the 40th round, 2007.
Former high school football star played three seasons at Valparaiso, signing with the Indians after going 2-2 with a 3.55 ERA and seven saves in his junior year. In 41 games in college, including 10 starts, he went 4-8 with a 5.67 ERA and seven saves. He also hit .239 (33-for-138) with six homers and 35 RBI. |
