Carlos Santana hit his 20th home run, one of three homers hit by Akron in an 11-7 win over New Britain.

Santana (.286) went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, his 24th double and three RBIs, giving him 82 for the season. The switch-hitting catcher generates impressive power despite standing only about 5-foot-9.

Nick Weglarz (.233) went 2-for-5 with a solo homer, his 16th, and Matt McBride (.256) was 3-for-5 with his 11th homer.
