Shortstop Mark Thompson had three hits including a three-run homer to help lead Lake County to an 11-6 victory over visiting Rome.

Thompson (.241) went 3-for-3 with two walks, scored three times, hit his ninth homer, and also got his 12th stolen base of the season.

DH Nate Recknagel (.284) went 3-for-3 with two walks, two runs, two doubles and three RBI; left fielder John Allman (.253) went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer, his sixth; and right fielder Donnie Webb (.267) was 3-for-5 with an RBI.
