Adam Abraham Profile

Adam Abraham hit a three-run homer to provide most of Lake County's offense in a 7-4 loss at Hagerstown.

Abraham (.257) went 1-for-4 with his sixth homer.

The second-year catcher, drafted by the Indians in the 13th round in 2008 out of the University of Michigan, has had a solid if unspectacular season. In 101 games, he has 23 doubles, 38 runs and 31 RBI.

He has continued to develop his skills as a catcher, seeing action in 74 games behind the plate. He's also played 19 games at third base and one at first.

Abraham had some big games at the plate in college. As he works on his defense, the ability to improve offensively is there, too.
