Bo Greenwell, following a good season at Lake County, had a good game in the Arizona Instructional League.

Greenwell went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI for the Indians' team in a 7-4 loss to a club comprised of Texas Rangers prospects.

Greenwell, whose dad Mike was a star outfielder for the Boston Red Sox throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, hit .296 this summer in 67 games. He went 9-for-26 (.346) with four RBI in seven games for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, then was moved up to Class A Lake County. In 60 games with the Captains, he batted .290 with two homers and 26 RBI.

He also showed decent plate discipline, drawing 23 walks compared to 25 strikeouts this summer. He was 9-for-12 in steal attempts, too.

Greenwell doesn't turn 21 until next month and has a bright future in the organization as he starts to play the way Tribe scouts envisioned when Cleveland made him a sixth-round draft pick in 2007 out of high school.
