Josh Judy struck out four over 1 2-3 hitless innings of relief for the Peoria Saguaros in a 3-2 loss to Surprise in the Arizona Fall League.

Judy walked one and got his only other out on a ground ball in a very impressive performance.

In three outings covering 4 1-3 innings for Peoria, the 6-4, 200-pound right-hander has struck out eight and walked four, allowing three hits and two unearned runs.

Judy is establishing himself as a big-league bullpen prospect -- quite a feat for a guy picked in the 34th round in 2007. He went 4-3 with 11 saves and a 2.83 ERA this summer in five games for Class A Kinston and 36 more at Double-A Akron. He struck out 70 and gave up only 39 hits over 54 innings during the 2009 season -- following up on a fine 2008 when he was 12-1 with 80 strikeouts in 74 1-3 innings at Lake County.
